About Anthony

Anthony has been working as a Physiotherapist in Kelowna since 2022. He earned a Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Western University.

At OHP, Anthony will be working with Linda Smith and Hayley Brown to pursue his accreditation as a certified hand therapist. Anthony has already completed continuing education in the following areas: ● Dry needling (IMS) ● Management of acute and chronic concussion ● Vestibular/vertigo disorders ● Upper/Lower Extremity Myofascial Release ● Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Manual Therapy Anthony utilizes these advanced techniques, combined with assessment and exercise prescription, to improve neuro-muscular function and effectively reduce pain.

 

This approach allows for comfortable and targeted exercise therapy, empowering individuals to return to work, sport, and recreational activities. Anthony has worked as an athletic trainer with individuals competing in the NBA, NCAA Division I basketball, the Canadian Hockey League, U Sports Varsity Hockey, and various local sports leagues. His primary focus and passion is in helping clients enhance their movement and overall well-being in both recreational and workplace environments.

 

Originally from London, Ontario, Anthony is making the most of everything the Okanagan has to offer. In his spare time, you can find him on the golf course, hiking, or training for his next triathlon or marathon.
