Optimize Your Health and Performance
Who We Are
Okanagan Health and Performance leads the way in interprofessional health and wellness in Kelowna. Since opening our doors in 2002, OHP has always strived to provide the best in integrated health and wellness in the Okanagan. With a wide variety of practitioners, treatments and services, there is something for everyone at OHP.
Services We Offer
Chiropractors are spine, muscle, joint, and nervous system experts. Utilizing a non-invasive, hands-on approach to assess how your body moves, a chiropractor will then utilize a variety of manual techniques and prescribed stretches/exercises to keep you not only moving your best, but feeling your best.
Physiotherapists are highly skilled, patient-centered professionals who help people at all stages of life affected by injuries. Understanding how and why we move, while integrating a variety of evidenced-based treatments and exercises is used to help you get back to doing the things that bring you joy and meaning in life.
OHP Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) provide an individualized treatment to help you get rid of those tight spots and relax. Whether you are working through an acute or chronic injury, or are simply looking for a relaxing experience, our RMTs are some of the best the in Okanagan.
A hand therapist will work with you to strengthen and improve range of motion the upper extremity. Many seek hand therapy following surgical procedures, acute injuries, and long standing chronic issues. Hand therapists specialize in this treatment, providing preventative care, post-operational rehabilitation, and non-operative therapy.
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)
Shockwave therapy is a clinically proven and highly effective treatment with little to no side effects for chronic soft tissue injuries involving tendons, ligaments, muscles or scar tissue injuries, and certain bone conditions. See an OHP chiropractor or physiotherapist to see if shockwave is for you.
Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS)
Dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation (IMS), uses a very fine needle into affected muscles in order to release trigger points that are associated with musculoskeletal or neuropathic pain. IMS can have a significant effect on reducing pain and improving the ability to exercise for a better recovery.
