Dr. Kim Spencer, (DC) BScAg., M. Chiro.
Kim grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia before moving to Vancouver to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia. After graduation Kim moved to Australia to complete her chiropractic studies at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Professionally, Kim is interested in treating sporting injuries, pediatrics, neck and low back pain, cumulative strain injuries and other common conditions such as headaches. Kim takes a holistic approach to care and includes personalized active rehabilitation, lifestyle and nutritional advice.
Kim has treated at numerous international and national sporting events in Australia such as the Ironman Triathalon and Australian University Games. Kim was also head sports trainer for one of the largest soccer and rugby clubs in Sydney.
Kim employs numerous techniques, such as joint manipulation and mobilization, active myofascial release, as well as cranial mobilization and other softer techniques for younger patients. Kim has spent numerous hours broadening her education with seminars in pediatric care and the treatment of myofascial sports related injuries.
Kim has competed in soccer at both varsity and national level and at the national level in squash. Kim still enjoys competing in numerous sports during her time away from the office.
